Title: Teller & Documentation Officer

Reporting to: Senior Financial Services Specialist

Location: Heet (1), Ramadi (1), and Fallujah (1)

Travel: Frequent Travel between project sites

Position Description

The Teller & Documentation Officer will be responsible for data entry of loan applications, and processing cash transaction on Siraj Finance (NEF Lending Management System). The Teller & Documentation Officer will provide support to the applicants outreach operations and follow up on required documentation in coordination with loan officers.

Responsibilities:

  • Create loan applications and uploading all required documents to Siraj Finance (NEF Lending Management System);
  • Maintain applicants’ information to ensure accuracy;
  • Process all loan repayments and loan disbursements cash transactions efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner;
  • Follow up with field staff on missing documents in coordination with loan officers;
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, and correct any incompatibilities if identified.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • BS degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field;
  • 2 year’s experience with a financial services institution;
  • Typing speed and high accuracy;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Excellent communications skills.
