COOPI
COOPI Cooperazione Internazionale is a secular and independent NGO, founded in Milan in 1965. It carries out development projects to contribute to the fight against poverty in particularly degraded areas and emergency programs to support people affected by natural disasters or conflicts. COOPI is currently present in 33 countries in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean. The main institutional donors are the European Union, UN agencies, the Italian Government, local entities and other European governments.
Description of COOPI in the country
Since 2019 COOPI establishes a presence in Venezuela to assist the local population after the worsening of the country’s socioeconomic crisis. Starting in July 2020, a regional crisis response program began, which was implemented in consortium with Venezuelan organizations for the protection of vulnerable groups. In these years COOPI has applied its interventions and is currently executing projects with different donors in Caracas, Lara, Carabobo, Anzoátegui, Sucre, Delta Amacuro and Bolivar in protection ( GBV, Child Protection, Trafficking and trafficking in persons ), reproductive sexual health, WASH ( water, sanitation and hygiene ) and school feeding.
Objective / job description
COOPI plans to strengthen the project team through the hiring of Five ( 05 ) Speakers / those, in charge of supervising and coordinating the data collection activities carried out by the enumerators within the framework of the WFP Program and the intervention of COOPI in Venezuela, Sucre status, in accordance with the objectives of the COOPI organization, the obligations with the donor, and the national regulations in the areas of intervention. Lister leaders work closely with the Monitoring Coordinator and enumerator teams.

Areas of responsibility
- Monitor and guide enumerators in their data collection tasks, ensuring that corporate WFP guidelines are met;
- Ensure the quality of the data collected in the field and ensure that the procedures and standards established by WFP are followed to guarantee the precision and reliability of the information collected;
- Actively contribute to the achievement of the goals established by WFP regarding the number of settings to be made, visits to schools, updating of beneficiary records and other data collection exercises;
- Maintain effective communication with the Follow-up Coordinator, the WFP team, and other enumerator team members;
- Coordinate activities and ensure smooth collaboration between enumerators;
- Facilitate and participate in the training processes provided by WFP for the enumerator team, ensuring that everyone is equipped with the necessary skills to carry out their work effectively;
- Timely provide technical or operational problems that may arise during data collection and propose solutions to address them efficiently;
- Know and monitor the management of corporate technology tools used in data collection and ensure that they are used appropriately by the team;
- Ensure that corporate WFP standards are rigorously met when it comes to data protection for beneficiaries and program participants.
Desired profile
ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience in leading data collection and information digitization teams preferably in humanitarian or development context;
- Understanding and respecting the principle of confidentiality with respect to the information collected from beneficiaries and participants;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with the team, the coordinator and other actors involved in the program;
- Ability to lead, motivate and guide a team of enumerators, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment;
- Ability to work autonomously and in contexts with high complexities and under pressure ( meet limited dates );
- Motivation, honesty, pro-active and decisive attitude, common sense, discretion;
- Ability to adapt to the diverse conditions and dynamics of field work, often in challenging environments;
- Respect for the vision and mission of COOPI and its charter of values;
- Essential advanced spoken and written Spanish language;
- Management of computer tools ( Microsoft Windows operating system ) and office automation ( Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook );
- Immediate availability.
DESABLE
- Knowledge of mobile data collection tools like Kobo;
- Languages: highly valued English;
- Venezuelan nationality or residence permit in the country.
