Leva Civica – National Programmes Unit At CESVI

WORK CONTEXT

CESVI is a secular and independent humanitarian organization founded in Bergamo in 1985. It operates in 28 countries worldwide, supporting the most vulnerable populations in achieving their aspirations and achieving sustainable development while respecting human rights. Based on the ideals of social justice, Cesvi pursues the well-being of populations living in poverty or affected by war, natural disasters, and environmental disasters.

Cesvi’s HQ is based in Bergamo and is made up of several units, including the National Programmes Unit , which designs and implements social, educational, and civil society-building interventions in Italy.

These programs are implemented in partnership with other third-sector organizations and public bodies, specifically addressing the prevention of child abuse, global citizenship education, and the social inclusion of minors and young migrants. CESVI also manages third-party funding programs for high-impact social interventions, in collaboration with major donors.
