Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles—independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, and transparency—has been its foundation for 45 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection, and treatment of malnutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflict and natural disasters. Assignment :
Under the supervision of the Country Director, you will ensure the logistics performance of the Country Office and coordinate its implementation to provide the best possible support to the programs.
In this context, your missions will be as follows:
Contribute to the definition of the Country Office strategy
Coordinate logistics at the national level
Manage international transport in conjunction with headquarters
Guarantee the relevance and manage the implementation of the Country Office security policy, contribute to the implementation of the Country Office Security policy
Promote and ensure collaboration and logistics coordination with the Country Office partners
Prevent and manage situations of fraud and corruption
Supervise and support the Logistics team in the capital and be the Functional Manager of the Logistics Managers on the bases Hierarchical management: 1 ICT Manager, 1 General Resources Manager, 1 Medical Supplier
Functional management: Base Logistics Technician and North Kivu Logistics Manager

Profile:
You hold a Bac+4 in Economics, Management, Transport and Logistics, or Commerce.
You have significant experience of at least 4 years in humanitarian logistics, including 2 as a Department Manager or Logistics Coordinator in the field, with ACF or another NGO of similar size.
Bioforce-type training is an asset.
Organized, diplomatic, and recognized for your managerial skills, you know how to manage a team in a multicultural context. You do not hesitate to delegate when necessary and know how to demonstrate leadership.
Ideally, you are familiar with the LINK tool.

Fixed-term contract under French law: 7 months until 06/30/2026
Gross monthly salary: from 2597 to 2968 euros depending on experience, including 13th month
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
Salary increase: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
Per diem and monthly living expenses: $974 net, paid in the field
Monthly context allowance: 150 euros
Child allowance: 1500 euros per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000 euros/year)
Transport and accommodation: Coverage of travel and collective accommodation
Medical coverage: 100% of the coverage of health contributions and repatriation insurance, your medical expenses (as well as that of your dependents if family position) until 1 month after the end of your contract
Salary maintenance arrangements (illness, maternity, paternity) Leave and RnR: 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; cover for the ticket with a ceiling to go to the chosen break zone, and 215 euros of fixed compensation per RnR
