Present in the DRC since 1994, Médecins du Monde France (MdM-F) intervenes in various regions of the country (Kinshasa, North Kivu, Tanganyika) particularly on programs in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and environmental health for the most vulnerable populations in situations of crisis, conflict and exclusion, fighting for universal access to care, in connection with national and provincial health authorities, as well as various interlocutors (NGO Forum, country humanitarian community, CSOs, donors, etc.).
Since May 2019, MdM has been present again in the province of Tanganyika, with a base in Kalemie to ensure coherence and coordinate activities carried out within the framework of the strategy to respond to the health needs of populations affected by intercommunal conflicts in the Nyemba health zone, as well as to ensure the quality of implementation.
Why we need you
You are responsible for planning and implementing procurement and technical logistics activities at the Kalemie base. You ensure compliance with MdM standards, protocols, and procedures for all mission projects.
Your tasks
- Oversee the entire supply chain: compliance with procedures, purchase planning, order tracking, delivery control, inventory management, and transport coordination.
- Managing travel planning, drivers, vehicle maintenance and repair, administrative compliance, spare parts tracking, and safety equipment upgrades
- Ensuring the maintenance and security of equipment and premises, managing maintenance contracts, logistical archiving, quality of reporting, and training in MdM procedures
- Supervising, training, and evaluating the logistics team; defining objectives, managing day-to-day HR tasks, and developing skills
- Manage communication systems within the mission: sizing, maintenance, and proper use of communication equipment; train teams on protocols and equipment
- Managing and monitoring the IT infrastructure, maintenance, proper use, and support for the implementation of backup and file sharing solutions
- Supervise the works (construction/rehabilitation), ensure logistical reporting, participate in the drafting of terms of reference/reports, and contribute to emergency responses.
- Support the updating of the security plan, security monitoring, staff compliance with rules, and the security of buildings, vehicles, and equipment; draft and update the roadbook
Your colleagues
You will work under the direct supervision of the site coordinator and the functional supervision of the logistics coordinator. You will supervise a team of 5 people: 2 logistics officers and 3 drivers.

- You have significant experience in a similar role
- You have excellent organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
- You have experience in launching projects in emergencies and opening bases
- You are rigorous, responsive and autonomous
This position is not for you if…
- You are not comfortable taking initiative.
- You are not familiar with the procurement procedures of humanitarian donors, nor with the management of supplies, stock, and vehicle fleets.
- You fear that you do not identify with the values ​​and activist stance of Doctors of the World.

Your employment conditions
Contract & status:
- Gross monthly salary: €3,039
- Fixed-term contract available from February 1, 2026 for a period of 6 months
