Doctors Without Borders, an international humanitarian medical association created in 1971, provides medical assistance to populations whose lives are threatened: mainly in cases of armed conflict, but also epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters or exclusion from care.
We are looking for a Microsoft O365 Specialist.
The French section of MSF has finalized the deployment of the Sharek project, whose objectives were the modernization of the intranet tool and the EDM (electronic document management); as well as the deployment of new collaborative practices via SharePoint solutions at headquarters and in the various fields (more than 30 countries to cover).
Within the Information and Knowledge Management (IKM) department, under the IT department and reporting to the department head, you will be responsible for defining and implementing technical architecture, design, migration, and configuration solutions for the Sharek intranet, using SharePoint solutions as well as other tools in the Microsoft 365 suite. You will also be the technical expert for the IKM department, addressing the needs of document management, archiving, and knowledge management projects, and monitoring the possibilities offered by AI to improve existing tools and the user experience.
You are responsible for the SharePoint technical solutions related to the new Intranet and the Document Management System (DMS).
- Feasibility study and arbitration of solutions (technical foundation, prerequisites, security management)
- Proposal of different scenarios depending on the areas and populations to be covered
- SharePoint site setup and design
- Design of the new sites
- Migration of document libraries to the new sites
- Implementation of automation workflows via scripts and Power Automate
- Implementation of AI-enabled innovations to improve the intranet
You define all the technical phases of the new projects
- Business needs analysis
- Drafting of architectural, operational and implementation documents
- Functional and technical testing in conjunction with information management and business teams
- Support for the information management team and users
You coordinate actors
- Coordination of internal technical experts (SITS partner entities)
- Supervision of external teams during outsourced projects
- Management of internal resources, either cross-functionally or directly (alternating).
- Enriching project progress and KPI dashboards through Power BI solutions
- Participation in steering committees and ad hoc project committees
You bring expertise in global O365 solutions in terms of collaborative practices.
- General knowledge of the capabilities of O365 applications: Planner, OneNote, Loop, Teams, OneDrive
- Regular benchmarking of new Microsoft solutions and innovations enabled by AI
- Formalizing best practices
- Comprehensive support in analyzing user requests
Study of solutions
- Facilitating technical workshops: Organizing and facilitating the collection of needs and the definition of solutions.
- Benchmarking tools: Comparative analysis of market solutions to guide the choice.
- UX optimization: Evaluating and improving the user journey for a seamless experience.
Implementation of Intranet solutions
- Deployment and technical configuration: Setting up interfaces, SSO, feeds (jobs, calendar, links), multilingual configuration and development of custom interfaces.
- Content structuring and management: Creation of site architecture, enrichment of metadata and specific development.
- Automation and monitoring: Implementation of workflows with PowerAutomate, PowerBI dashboards and post-deployment support for ongoing support and continuous improvement.
Participation in the project to implement an electronic archiving tool
- Contribution to the selection of the service provider: Participation in the international call for tenders and technical analysis of the proposed solutions.
- Validation and integration: Carrying out tests with the chosen provider and studying interoperability with existing systems.
- Operational deployment: Implementation of the new tool in the organizational environment.
Desired profile
Education/Experience:
• Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Computer Science or Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in IT and the Microsoft environment. Experience on a SharePoint implementation project is desirable. Experience with MSF or in the non-profit sector would be a plus.
Skills:
• Microsoft 365 Suite: Office Suite, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Planner.
• M365 Technologies: Azure Active Directory, Exchange, Power Automate, JSON, SPFx.
• General knowledge of Microsoft infrastructures: AD, DNS, DHCP, certificates, networks.
• Awareness of the challenges of Records Management/EDM, information architecture, and collaborative practices in the O365 environment.

Status and conditions
Status: Permanent, full-time contract. Management position based in Paris with occasional field visits. Teleworking according to MSF’s rules (2 days/week).
Conditions: €50,800 gross annual salary paid over 13 months. 22 days of paid time off per year. Supplementary health insurance fully covered by Doctors Without Borders. Meal vouchers with a face value of €12 (60% covered by Doctors Without Borders). 50% reimbursement of public transport pass.
