Who we are?
IDA is an international independent non-governmental organization providing medical and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflicts, natural disasters and epidemics regardless of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
IDA was founded in 2012 by Syrian doctors from Aleppo in response to the healthcare and humanitarian crisis in Syria.
IDA Syria is the main healthcare provider in the Northern Aleppo/Syria area, working closely with 500,000 IDPs and 700,000 host communities through 20 healthcare facilities and other health and nutrition projects
During last year, IDA has provided 1.2 million services in Heath, Nutrition, WaSH and Camp Management

Pharmacy Technician – Job Description
- Dispense medications to patients according to prescriptions and the pharmacist’s instructions
- Prepare, organize, and properly store medications and pharmaceutical supplies
- Monitor medication stock and expiry dates and report shortages
- Receive medications and supplies and verify quantities, expiry dates, and packaging integrity
- Document medication dispensing and receiving and maintain accurate pharmacy records
- Follow medication safety, proper storage, and infection prevention procedures
- Coordinate with the pharmacist and medical team to ensure the safe use of medications
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacy Technology from a recognized educational institution
- Valid professional license, as applicable
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or hospital setting; at least one year of experience is preferred
- Good knowledge of medications and proper storage and dispensing procedures
- Good computer and data documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team with accuracy and professional confidentiality
