Project Coordinator/ Coordinateur·trice de Projects At CSAI Foundation

The State Foundation for Health, Childhood and Social Welfare (Fundación CSAI) is a Spanish public sector institution of general interest in the areas of health, social services, child protection, and the promotion of equality, both in Spain and in third countries, with more than twenty years of experience in the sector.

The CSAI Foundation is calling for one (1) coordinator position for the project “Support for improving access to care and the organization of health services by supporting the development of family and community health in Morocco (Averroès 2)”

REQUIREMENTS

  • University Degree.
  • High level of Spanish and French (minimum B2 for both), through training or experience.
  • Work experience in development cooperation projects of at least one (1) year.
  • Availability to travel.

MERITS

  • University Degree in Health Sciences.
  • Academic training and professional certifications in any of the project-related subjects: medical specialties, healthcare management, global health, public health, development cooperation, project management, etc.
  • Experience working in the execution and/or coordination of cooperation projects.
  • Experience working on social-health care and/or social intervention projects.
  • Experience working with public or private health institutions in developing countries.
  • French level above B2.

FUNCTIONS

  • Coordination of the Averroes 2 project, under the leadership of the Moroccan Ministry of Health and the AECID Technical Cooperation Office (OTC) in Morocco.
  • Perform technical coordination and economic and logistical management of the project, verifying project management in the various phases: identification, execution, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Implementation and monitoring of field activities.
  • Interlocution with the various organizations and institutions related to the project: Moroccan Ministry of Health, OTC, State Foundation, Health, Childhood and Social Welfare, FSP (CSAI Foundation), etc.
  • Coordination with the CSAI Foundation, OTC, and AECID headquarters to achieve the project’s objectives and results.
  • Review, specification, and updating of the project’s technical documentation in coordination with the FCSAI and the OTC.
  • Preparation and participation in project monitoring committees, as well as completion of technical reports as required by AECID.
  • Development of the Terms of Reference, based on the project’s activities, in coordination with the project leaders at the Moroccan Ministry of Health; as well as proposals for improvements related to the project’s objectives.
  • Preparation of technical reports (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or final) on the development of project activities and achievement of results.
  • Presentation of the final report justifying the technical and financial aspects of the project.
  • Economic and logistical management of the project.
  • Collaboration with the CSAI Foundation Project Technician in everything necessary for its execution.
  • Act as legal representative of the CSAI Foundation in Morocco.
  • Availability to travel according to the needs of the Project.
  • Any other function that may be requested, according to your profile.

These functions will not, under any circumstances, involve the exercise of public powers, the exercise of authority, nor do they imply the exercise of higher organizational functions.

HOW TO ACCREDIT REQUIREMENTS AND MERITS:

Candidates will have a maximum of 20 calendar days from the end of the application period to submit documentation proving their merits and requirements. If the candidate fails to submit this documentation, the Foundation may request that they do so.

Documentation proving the requirements:

  • Copy of the required qualification: University Degree.
  • Copy of the required qualifications: Certificate of Spanish and French (minimum B2 for both). Alternatively, proof of Spanish and French language skills may be required. If you are a national of a Spanish- or French-speaking country, this will not be required.
  • Work certificate/affidavit: Demonstrated experience in development cooperation projects of at least one (1) year.
  • Responsible or sworn declaration for availability to travel.

Documentation proving the merits that applicants wish to have assessed. The merits submitted must be in their possession by the deadline for submitting applications and must be duly documented in order to be assessed.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CONTRACT

  • Full-time employment contract.
  • Gross annual salary (including destination supplement): 29,940 euros.
  • Supplements/aid in accordance with the cooperator’s status.
  • Duration: Indefinite, with a trial period of six (6) months.
  • Work location: Rabat, Morocco, with travel to the regions of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, Marrakech-Safi, Grand Casablanca-Settat, and Souss-Massa.
  • Start date: immediately after completing the selection process.

– President: Coordinator/Director of International Projects of the CSAI Foundation.

– Member: Health Technician of the CSAI Foundation.

– Secretary: Responsible for/Control of CSAI Foundation projects.

Maximum duration of the selection process:

The maximum duration of the selection process will be 30 calendar days from the end of the deadline for submitting offers.

Candidates will have 20 calendar days from the end of the application period to submit documentation proving their merits and requirements.
