WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO…
The European Cooperative Society of Collective Interest “Humanitarian Logistics Cooperative”, also known as “hulo”, is the first humanitarian cooperative founded in June 2021. Led by humanitarian organizations and integrating new members regularly, hulo aims to improve the impact of humanitarian aid by strengthening collaboration and the implementation of joint projects in its countries of intervention. At hulo, we are convinced that sharing and pooling resources and expertise between organizations contributes to increasing the performance of humanitarian logistics and the supply chain.
Our work is based on a collaborative and participatory approach, collective intelligence, and the facilitation of a community of practice. All our activities are structured around a common objective, involving several autonomous and interdependent stakeholders who cooperate horizontally. Management is distributed, based on consultation, co-responsibility, and voluntary commitment.
In our seven countries of operation spread across three regions, we implement shared initiatives in the areas of procurement, human resources, and the environment. To support humanitarian organizations, we coordinate shared international humanitarian transport initiatives to address the most serious humanitarian crises. Finally, we are constantly developing digital solutions to serve the humanitarian community.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Within the Digital Projects Department, you will join the Design & Development division.
The department is made up of around twenty people (internal resources and service providers) with varied expertise (Web Project Managers, Technical Manager, UI-UX Design Coordinator, Back and Front Developers, etc.), in charge of designing and maintaining the applications made available to humanitarian actors.
The teams are currently working on the design and deployment of three tools: “ Shared Resources ” (a mobile application for exchanging resources and services between NGOs), “ Transport by hulo ” (a shared transport management tool), and “ Link ” (a supply chain management tool for humanitarian organizations).
Under the direction of the Digital Platform Technical Project Manager, and in close collaboration with the Tech lead in charge of each solution, the functional project managers (Product Owner), the UI-UX designer and the development team (full-stack, automated tests), your mission will be to:
- Maintain and develop the hulo digital platform solutions.
- Participate in the development of web and mobile applications.
- Contribute to the stability, quality assurance and optimization of applications.
- Participate in studies/technical choices/implementation of the hulo technical architecture and in the dynamics of the department.
- YOUR PROFILE
- With a bac+5 qualification in design and development, you have at least 3 years of significant experience in developing web and/or mobile applications, with proven experience in NodeJS, React.js and/or React Native.
- You’re motivated by technical challenges and team design. You demonstrate proactivity, autonomy, and ingenuity. Join our innovation projects in the service of international solidarity.
- Stack technique :
- Stack technique front : ReactJS, React Native / Expo, Typescript / TSX, SCSS
- Stack technique back : Typescript, NestJS, TypeORM
- Environment: microservice architecture, API Gateway, docker / Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Github, PostgreSQL
- Optional knowledge: React Offline, OpenAPI, FreeMaker Template Language
HULO WILL OFFER YOU THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
- A full-time salaried position
- Based in Montreuil with the possibility of working remotely in France.
- Permanent employment contract under French law.
- Executive status with an annual package based on 1600 hours per year.
- Salary conditions:
- Gross annual salary: €43,075 over 13 months
- 22 days of RTT per year
- AXA Mutual and Provident Fund (100% covered by hulo)
- Restaurant vouchers: face value of €8, 60% covered by hulo
- Specific conditions and skills: prolonged sitting, oral expression, working on screen, telephone contacts.
