About Trust Consultancy and Development
Trust Consultancy and Development is an independent research and third-party monitoring and evaluation (M&E) consultancy based in Gaziantep, Turkey, with two sister-companies, one in Islamabad, Pakistan and one in Erbil, Iraq. Trust provides a range of services and works with partner companies and NGOs in the MENA region and beyond. Our work addresses the growing demand for high-quality research, third-party research, data collection, data analysis and capacity-building services. Our clients include international and national non-governmental organizations and donors, including UNICEF, UNFPA, OCHA, Expertise France, Global Communities, IRC, IMC, DCA, Save the Children, People in Need, World Vision, Norwegian Refugee Council, GIZ, USAID/BHA and ECHO. Position Summary:
The Capacity Development Intern will support the company’s training and capacity building initiatives. This role includes contributing to training tenders, drafting proposals, coordinating communication with stakeholders, managing training and webinar logistics, and supporting media outputs related to capacity development. This internship provides practical, hands-on experience for individuals interested in training, adult learning, and international development work
Key Responsibilities
Training Tenders Scoping
- Conduct desk research to identify relevant training opportunities.
- Analyze calls for training proposals and summarize requirements.
- Support the development of tender trackers and opportunity pipelines.
Training Proposal Writing
- Assist in drafting technical and financial training proposals.
- Support the development of training concept notes and budgets.
- Contribute to formatting, proofreading, and packaging of proposal submissions.
Communication with Internal & External Stakeholders
- Liaise with internal departments to gather inputs for training proposals and activities.
- Draft professional emails and correspondence with partners, consultants, and clients.
- Support scheduling and documentation of meetings with stakeholders.
Managing Internal & External Training Projects
- Assist in planning, coordination, and tracking of training project activities.
- Support logistical arrangements, participant communication, and training delivery.
- Maintain updated records of training participants, feedback, and outcomes.
Managing Internal & External Webinars
- Coordinate planning and delivery of webinars, including agenda, invites, and follow-up.
- Provide technical support during live sessions (e.g., Zoom/Teams).
- Compile post-webinar reports and participant summaries.
Managing Media Related to Capacity Development
- Support the development of training materials, visuals, and presentations.
- Assist with drafting social media and website updates related to capacity development.
- Archive and manage training photos, recordings, and related media content.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Ongoing or recently completed Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, International Development, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages an asset)
- Good research and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and online meeting tools (Zoom, Teams).
- Basic knowledge of project coordination and training delivery preferred.
