About the Internship Position

Trust offers internship positions as Junior Officers (JOs) in various teams throughout the internship duration.

  1. 4–6 months, remote, full-time (40 hours/week)
  2. Unpaid internship
  3. Exposure to different phases of third-party monitoring projects
  4. If travel is required, Trust will cover related logistics expenses

Tasks and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Scoping new opportunities/searching for ToRs and tenders
  2. Analyzing ToRs/tenders
  3. Communicating with external partners and consultants
  4. Identifying external consultants and partners
  5. Supporting proposal writing (research, monitoring, and evaluation)

Interns may also contribute to TPM & M&E projects by supporting:

  1. Literature and desk review
  2. Inception reports
  3. Data collection tool design
  4. Quantitative and qualitative data analysis
  5. Report writing
  6. Remote data collection
  7. Data/report visualization
  8. Other tasks (media, digital marketing, webinars, training materials, etc.)

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

  • Interest in the humanitarian/development sector
  • Currently studying or holding a degree (Master’s is an asset)
  • Fluent in English (Arabic, Turkish, Kurdish are assets)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with diverse, international teams

Additional assets: knowledge of the Middle East, familiarity with NGOs/donors, and data collection/analysis experience

  10. Other skills (if available) (media, marketing, HR, training, etc.)
  11. Confirmation that the internship is remote, unpaid, and full-time (40 hrs/week)
  12. Confirmation of time zone compatibility (within 2–3 hours of Turkey time)

This internship is not for individuals who are already qualified or have years of experience in the humanitarian sector. It is specifically designed for those who would like to gain practical experience.
