How can you make a difference? Key functions / Responsibilities

The Family Linkage (FL) Case Management Assistant provides specialized support in the handling, monitoring, and systematization of cases within the Venezuelan Red Cross’s (CRV) Restoring Family Links (RFL) program. They are responsible for facilitating the correct use of case management tools, ensuring the quality of entered data, and supporting branches in implementing program procedures.

He/She will be in charge of:

  • Main user, focal point and technical lead in the use of the case management tool (Family Links Answers).
  • Monitor the case management flow in the system, verify the quality of the information uploaded, in close communication with the RCF focal points.
  • Support the training of staff and volunteers of subsidiaries on the proper use of RCF tools and protection principles applicable to case management.
  • Participate in technical and coordination meetings with the regional or global RFL network, when required by the Protection Coordination.
  • Collaborate in the systematization of data and preparation of technical reports on the status of RCF cases at the national level.
  • Facilitate communication between CRV branches and members of the Red Cross Movement’s family ties network, in coordination with the Protection Coordination.
  • To provide input for the design and updating of internal procedures, manuals or protocols of the RCF program.
  • Support the logistical and technical planning of technical activities, workshops or capacity-building events in RCF.
  • Responsible for the implementation of the RCF Data Protection Code of Conduct, and technical reference on the matter.
  • Perform other assigned tasks within the framework of the RCF program.

Report

The RCF Assistant will report to the Project Management.

Workplace

Caracas (CRV Headquarters).

To qualify as a builder of the Venezuelan humanitarian system, you must meet the following requirements:

  • University degree in social sciences, law, international relations, social work, or related areas.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in support of protection, migration, RCF or humanitarian assistance programs.
  • Basic knowledge of digital case management tools (FLAnswers or similar) is desirable.
  • Familiarity with data protection and confidentiality principles in humanitarian contexts.
  • Ability to provide technical support, facilitate training, and write basic technical reports.
  • Proficient in office software and virtual work environments.
  • Commitment to the Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent.
  • Organizational, communication and teamwork skills.
