Additional Information

Guatemala and El Salvador are culturally and linguistically diverse contexts with significant social and economic inequality, high levels of out migration, and complex dynamics related to violence, land, and climate vulnerability. SEED participants and partner organizations often serve in rural or marginalized communities where Spanish may not be the first language and where access to services can be limited. Travel between locations can be time consuming and occasionally affected by security, infrastructure, or weather related concerns. The Coordinator must be able to navigate these realities with cultural humility, flexibility, and strong attention to safety and safeguarding considerations.
