Here’s where you come in:
As the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for leading all day-to-day accounting operations, with functional responsibility for accounting, accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable and tax compliance. The position is responsible for the production of financial reports; ensuring proper maintenance of accurate accounting records; accurate processing of financial transactions; and administration of a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and result in unqualified audits. You will focus on implementing financial strategies that best serve program objectives consistent with World Vision Sudan National strategy, Partnership Policies and donor requirements. You must be willing to change ideas and adapt plans to respond to changing needs and situations.
Requirements include:
- Minimum of 5 years of finance and accounting experience, including finance, accounting, audit, and analysis (including gathering, evaluating, presenting, and reporting financial information to management and external stakeholders).
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. (MBA Preferred).
- CPA or ACCA required.
- Experience managing statutory and donor audits.
- Demonstrated high proficiency levels of Sun Systems.
- At least 5 years of valuable experience working in fragile and complex context.
- Good knowledge and understanding of humanitarian and response work.
