About Boxtribute
Our long-term vision is to address the root causes of inefficient humanitarian aid. By focusing on the systemic issues that prevent humanitarian aid from effectively reaching vulnerable people today (meaning getting the right aid, to the right people, at the right time), we want to enable especially smaller locally-led humanitarian aid organisations to quickly and effectively self-organise.
Over the last five years, we have supported various local responders in the EMEA region, aiding approximately 35 organisations across different crises with our Boxtribute open-source platform.
What will I be doing?
You’re the relationship architect who turns Boxtribute’s track record of impact into partnerships that scale our reach. You’ll build a pipeline of key players in the space, including institutional donors and capacity-building organizations, and convert those relationships into projects / ventures that sustain our work and get real help on the ground for the grassroots organizations.
Think strategic business development for civil society – you’ll spot opportunities, craft compelling value propositions, and shepherd prospects from initial interest to signed partnerships, all while connecting actors across the humanitarian ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Relationship Building
- Map and prioritise the partnership landscape – Research institutional donors, philanthropic funders, CSR programs, and capacity builders and highlight the ones whose mandates align with our mission
- Identify breakthrough opportunities – Spot when funders’ existing priorities (e.g. climate adaptation, digital transformation, community-led engagement) intersect with our capabilities and emerging policies or innovations to create entirely new value propositions
- Reframe our platform creatively – Turn humanitarian logistics into climate resilience tools, supply chain visibility into accountability metrics, or local capacity into scalable impact
Pipeline Management & Conversion
- Manage the full partnership funnel – Shepherd prospects from first contact to signed MOUs while maintaining detailed CRM records for seamless handovers
- Craft and present compelling narratives – Weave user impact stories and platform analytics into proposals and pitches that resonate with C-level executives, foundation boards, and program directors
