Summary
Leads research design and delivery for policy products that inform dialogue and governance reform efforts. Oversees data collection, stakeholder interviews, and the drafting of high-quality policy outputs; coordinates workshop content and ensures methodological rigor throughout the project cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design research plans, tools, and protocols aligned with project objectives and donor standards.
- Lead mixed-methods data collection (interviews, focus groups, desk research) and ensure data integrity.
- Draft policy briefs, memos, and the final policy paper; translate evidence into actionable recommendations.
- Coordinate workshop agendas, facilitation guides, and post-event synthesis notes.
- Ensure methodological rigor, quality assurance, and ethical compliance across all outputs.
- Liaise with stakeholders (business leaders, civil society, public institutions) and synthesize feedback into revisions.
- Contribute to M&E by defining indicators, reviewing surveys, and capturing lessons learned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of policy research experience, ideally in fragile/conflict-affected contexts.
- Proven record of authoring policy papers and facilitating stakeholder consultations.
- Strong qualitative methods; familiarity with quantitative analysis a plus.
- Ability to manage deadlines, coordinate multi-location activities, and uphold research ethics.
