Job Purpose
The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising and monitoring rehabilitation activities in schools and houses in kafr nobol – idleb to ensure that all works are implemented according to technical standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily rehabilitation works at schools and houses.
- Ensure the quality of materials and workmanship according to approved specifications.
- Monitor contractors’ performance and report progress to the Project Engineer/Manager.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports with photos and updates.
- Verify quantities of completed works for payment and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards at all sites.
- Support in preparing technical assessments, BoQs, and drawings when needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in site supervision, preferably in NGO or humanitarian projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, BoQs, and technical drawings.
- Good reporting and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Ability to travel frequently to project sites.
