Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles—independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, and transparency—has been its foundation for 45 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection, and treatment of malnutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflict and natural disasters. Mission :
Under the supervision of the Field Coordinator and in close collaboration with the SMSP Expert and the Operational Technical Manager, you will identify, plan, implement and monitor quality, relevant and innovative SMSP interventions in compliance with the strategy, ACF and international standards and national policies.
In this context, your missions will be to:
Contribute to the reflection on the strategy and positioning of the SMSP department
Identify needs and contribute to the formulation of projects
Ensure the implementation, monitoring and reporting of SMSP projects
Contribute to the Quality and Accountability processes and the impact measurement of the program
Participate in the coordination, representation and ACF partnerships in its intervention area
Supervise and manage your teams (5 Psychosocial Workers)
Contribute to the capitalization and technical development within your sector
Guarantee and ensure the confidentiality of data collected during the SMSP activities of the mission

Profile :
You hold a Master 2 in clinical psychology, with in-depth knowledge of humanitarian psychiatry (and ideally the Nexus approach).
You have at least 2 years of experience in the humanitarian sector with Action Against Hunger or another INGO, with more than 6 months of base work, and at least 1 year in an SMSP Program Manager position, ideally in difficult contexts.
Your communication, management, priority and time management skills, as well as your team spirit and cohesion, have enabled you to plan, implement and monitor projects, manage budgets and teams successfully, even under pressure.
Through your experiences, you have acquired knowledge and skills in the implementation of integrated and multi-sectoral projects, project cycle management and the use of participatory and research tools and methodologies, for implementation, monitoring, evaluation and learning.
You are comfortable with Word, Excel, Outlook and technical programs.
You have a good command of French (written and spoken), ideally English.
Conditions of employment
Vaccination against Mpox is recommended for employees traveling to this country.
Fixed-term contract under French law: 6 months until 31/03/2026
Gross monthly salary: from 2130 to 2475 euros depending on experience, including 13th month
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
Increase in basic salary: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
Per diem and monthly living expenses: 729 euros net, paid in the field
Monthly context allowance: 450 euros
Child allowance: 1500 euros per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000 euros/year)
Transport and accommodation: Coverage of travel and collective accommodation
Medical coverage: 100% of the coverage of health contributions and repatriation insurance, your medical expenses until 1 month after the end of your contract
Salary maintenance arrangements (illness, maternity, paternity)
Leave and RnR: 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; cover of the ticket with ceiling to go to the chosen break zone, and 215 euros of fixed compensation per RnR
