Job description
Job Purpose
The Team Leader will be responsible for the direct supervision of project field activities, ensuring the quality of services provided to beneficiaries, coordinating the work of field staff and volunteers, and monitoring progress against approved plans and performance indicators. The Team Leader will ensure the effective achievement of, project objectives while maintaining compliance with humanitarian principles, organizational policies, and donor requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Directly supervise field staff and volunteers, providing them with the necessary guidance and technical support
2. Develop periodic work plans and monitor the implementation of field activities according to established timelines
3. Ensure the quality of project activities and services delivered to beneficiaries in line with project standards and donor requirements
4. Monitor progress of activities, analyze challenges, and provide appropriate recommendations to project management
5. Maintain continuous coordination with the Project Manager and relevant departments to ensure smooth implementation of project activities
6. Oversee beneficiary targeting and selection processes, ensuring compliance with approved selection criteria
7. Review field reports and databases,ensuring their accuracy, completeness,and timely submission
8. Support monitoring and evaluation activities, including data collection and quality assurance processes
9. quality assurance processes and feedback, ensuring they are addressed in accordance with established mechanisms and procedures
10. Prepare and submit periodic reports to the Project Manager within the specified deadlines
11. Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor in support of project objectives

Qualification (Education/Work Experience)
Essential .A:
1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g.,social sciences, development studies, humanitarian assistance
2. Proven experience in field-based work,preferably in community development,humanitarian assistance,or related fields.

1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
2. Excellent data collection and analysis skills, with attention to detail and accuracs.
3. Ability to work independently and as part Ability to Work independently and as pard adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
4. Familiarity with monitorinb and evaluation principles and tools is an advantage.
5. Knowledge of local languages/dialects and cultural sensitivities in the assigned and cultural sensitivities in the assignee.
6. Proficient in using computer applications (e.g., MS Office, data management software).
7. Willingness to travel frequently and work in remote or challenging environments.
8. Preferably has knowledge of the youth and volunteer context in the community.
9. Preferably trained or familiar with emergency and disaster context.
10. Obtaining a trainers certificate.
11. Commitment to humanitarian principles,ethical standards, and respect for beneficiaries’ rights. Work on child protection programs with local or international organizations 1 year at least.
