Kuja Kuja Communications Analyst Consultant
Duration: 3 months
Creative and motivated Communications Analyst with exceptional experience in designing, planning and executing strategic communications. Has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, and more than 2 years of Communications experience. Excellent writing skills and extensive knowledge of digital marketing is required. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and oversee the operations of a team.
The person will be guided by the Project Lead and the Marketing and Promotion Director, and receive support from the Kuja Kuja Global Team.
Purpose and Objectives:
- Support the creation of the content plan for Kuja Kuja in the Ukraine Response to build awareness and engagement with the community
- With the support of the Kuja Kuja team, lead the implementation and design of a dissemination plan to spread Remote Collection Tools within the affected communities
Specific Activities
- Support the development of the communications and content plan in English and Ukrainian
- Maintain good public relations between Kuja Kuja and the community, ensuring a strong online presence.
- Constantly update knowledge of current social media trends to implement them effectively
- Play a role in taking good care of the organization’s reputation, which can involve responding to problems but also being proactive in emphasizing the positive attributes of a company.
- Create both print and electronic promotional marketing materials and revise them.
- Develop communications pieces and support their design.
- Prepare remarkable insights briefs on communications concerning the corresponding response region that may build better understanding of the context or may become good shareable resources with the community.
- Support all internal and external communications reporting about the Ukraine Response to ensure engaging and insightful narratives.
- Report campaign follow up statistics.
Deliverables and Timeline
- Design and improve dissemination strategy for the webform – biweekly
- Design communications strategy to foster ongoing conversations with the community and close feedback loops – monthly
- Support the design of high quality data products (led by the Data Analyst) – weekly
- According with the guidance of the Marketing and Positioning Global Director, construct strategic content along with designs for social media and free press – daily
- Review that the reports or information sent for allies or donors acting in the region, contains Kuja Kuja key corporate messages – as needed
- Interact with the community through Telegram Channel or Facebook to raise awareness about Kuja Kuja and our ideas collection, and engage with them – daily
- Give inputs about interesting content that could be shared and could be valuable to the community or team members – daily
- Provide insightful communications strategy campaign’s reports and follow up stats – weekly
Skills and experience we’re seeking
- Demonstrated experience and abilities in digital marketing, proofreading, copy-editing and storytelling
- Excellent written communication skills in Ukrainian and English
- Knowledge of successful public relations campaigns and practices
- Ability to develop, design and execute creative ideas
- Problem solving skills and result-oriented
- Good interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Open and entrepreneurial work attitude
- Interested in leadership, community management, communications, social enterprise and social impact
- Have knowledge on design tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop is a plus
