This initiative aims to identify experts who can be tapped for future projects as they arise. Experts in the pool will be considered for upcoming projects based on their expertise, availability, and the specific requirements of each project.

Job Description:

The Energy and Climate Policy Lead is responsible for providing overall project leadership and coordination. They ensure that all deliverables are met, manage client relationships, and oversee the integration of technical, policy, and gender components. The Lead also facilitates stakeholder engagement and supports strategic decision-making.

Job Qualifications/Skills:

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in Environmental Policy, Energy Systems, Climate Change, Engineering, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in energy efficiency, industrial decarbonization, and climate or energy policy.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects and developing policy and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven experience in leading the development of roadmaps or strategies for industrial decarbonization or climate-resilient sectors.
  • Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, reporting, and presentation abilities.
