This initiative aims to identify experts who can be tapped for future projects as they arise. Experts in the pool will be considered for upcoming projects based on their expertise, availability, and the specific requirements of each project.
Job Description:
The Energy Policy and Regulatory Expert is responsible for leading the formulation of the energy efficiency policy framework for MSMEs. This includes identifying regulatory gaps, developing actionable policy recommendations, and supporting institutional capacity building. The expert works in close coordination with national regulatory bodies and ensures the integration of international best practices.
Job Qualifications/Skills:
- Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in Energy Policy, Environmental Economics, Public Policy, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in energy policy development, regulatory analysis, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including experience with energy service companies and energy efficiency financing mechanisms.
- Demonstrated experience working with national energy and industrial policies; familiarity with policy development cycles and stakeholder coordination.
- Proven ability to provide policy advisory services and contribute to institutional capacity-building efforts.
