This initiative aims to identify experts who can be tapped for future projects as they arise. Experts in the pool will be considered for upcoming projects based on their expertise, availability, and the specific requirements of each project.
Job Description:
The MSME Development Expert is responsible for providing specialized expertise on MSME ecosystems, value chains, and business models. The expert supports baseline assessments, MSME inventory profiling, and the prioritization of target enterprises. They advise on MSME-specific barriers to adopting climate-smart technologies and design capacity-building measures tailored to the unique needs of MSMEs.
Job Qualifications/Skills:
- Advanced degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience working with MSMEs in industrial development, sustainable business models, or energy-related interventions.
- Proven expertise in value chain development, business support services, and improving MSMEs’ access to finance.
- Strong understanding of the Philippine MSME policy environment and sectoral dynamics, including manufacturing, agriculture, and services.
