This initiative aims to identify experts who can be tapped for future projects as they arise. Experts in the pool will be considered for upcoming projects based on their expertise, availability, and the specific requirements of each project.
Job Description:
The Climate-Smart Industry Technology Expert is responsible for conducting technical assessments of low-carbon and energy-efficient technologies relevant to MSMEs. The expert leads the identification and prioritization of target MSMEs and supports the feasibility analysis and planning of climate-smart technology interventions.
Job Qualifications/Skills:
- Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Environmental Science, Energy Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in industrial energy efficiency, green technologies, and climate-smart innovations.
- Proven experience working with industrial value chains, including technology assessments and implementation planning.
- Demonstrated expertise in estimating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and evaluating the mitigation impact of industrial interventions.
- Familiarity with clean technology deployment in MSME contexts and understanding of sector-specific decarbonization pathways is highly desirable.
