The Syrian Women’s Network is an independent feminist civil network, founded on May 25, 2013. Its membership comprises women’s and human rights organizations from various regions of Syria and from countries of asylum. The network works in the fields of protection and women’s empowerment across all sectors, as well as advocacy. It aims to promote gender justice, political participation, and the economic and social empowerment of Syrian women, within a comprehensive national vision for building a democratic, civil state based on citizenship and equality.

Job Vacancy: social worker – part time
Location: Gaziantep, Turkey
Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and document hotline calls.
  • Conduct follow-up phone calls and in-office follow-up sessions.
  • Support the Case Manager in implementing case plans.
  • Coordinate with external service providers, hospitals, and local institutions.
  • Assist in legal and psychosocial awareness sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in protection work.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
