Context
The Human Resources Administration Unit (HRAU), located in the Global Shared Services Centre (GSSC), is responsible for providing a wide range of personnel support services relating to contract administration and entitlements and benefits to IOM staff in the Professional category worldwide.
Under the overall supervision of the Chief, HR Hub, and the direct supervision of the GSSC Wave Support Officer (HRAU) (International), the succsessful candidate will support the stabilization of Wave, while providing assistance for the effective human resources management of staff members in all categories and locations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with three (3) years of relevant professional experience; or
- High school diploma with five (5) years of relevant experience..
Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in Human Resources Management.
- Knowledge of the procedures during a User Testing Acceptance process.
- Experience in an international organization, non-governmental or governmental organisation in a
- multicultural setting is an advantage.
SKILLS
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of IOM/UN HR procedures and rules is an asset.
- Knowledge of SAP, Oracle or similar ERP, is highly desirable
