Context :

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Head of Delegation and in close collaboration with the Program Coordinator and the Monitoring, Evaluation and Quality Manager, the post holder contributes to the optimal implementation of Tdh programs in Burundi, as well as to the strengthening of its programmatic and strategic positioning, by actively participating:

  • Seeking Institutional Funding: RDFI strategy, monitoring and identification of funding opportunities, development and submission of proposals and rigorous monitoring of grants awarded.
  • To strengthen the quality and accountability mechanisms implemented within the programs developed.
  • On the Foundation’s programmatic positioning in Burundi: needs analysis, networking with international and national donors and partners, drafting a position paper, etc.
  • To the production of regular and qualitative reporting, based on reliable, consistent and relevant data, intended for the various stakeholders (internal and external).

Profile sought:

Formation :

  • Higher education (Master’s or other equivalent diploma).

Experience and skills:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in progressive management of international projects with prior experience in the field of international cooperation, project management and knowledge of institutional donor mechanisms.
  • Strong autonomy and very good time and priority management.
  • Excellent writing, synthesis and presentation skills for information, concepts and data in a clear, concise and structured manner.
  • Excellent analytical mind.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment.

LANGUAGES :

Perfect command of French and English.

IT :

High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Conditions :

  • Swiss contract
  • Gross monthly salary between CHF 3,000 and CHF 3,800 depending on experience – x13.36 months
  • Insurance: illness, accident, repatriation
  • Annual leave: 25 days/year
  • Round-trip flights to the duty station
