Request for Proposal (RFP) to development of an audio-visual training course for the travel and tourism industry (September – December 2025)
ORGANISATIONAL CONTEXT
ECPAT International is a global network of organisations working together for the elimination of the sexual exploitation of children (SEC) in all its manifestations i.e., exploitation of children in prostitution, online child sexual exploitation, sale and trafficking of children for sexual purposes, sexual exploitation of children in travel and tourism and some forms of child, early and forced marriage. The ECPAT Network currently consists of 145 members working at national and local levels in 115 countries.
The ECPAT International Secretariat coordinates the global work of the organisation and is based in Bangkok, Thailand. The Secretariat designs and implements global and regional level programmes, and undertakes programming, advocacy and research and facilitates a range of network initiatives.
BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT
ECPAT International working on the development of a 20–25-minute audio-visual training course for short-term rental hosts to protect children from trafficking and sexual exploitation.
CONSULTANCY OBJECTIVES
We are looking for a professional agency with technical expertise in developing high quality audio-visual training courses and materials for online use. This will entail working with ECPAT International and civil society organisations in the Americas to transfer the content of the course to an online format (e.g. e-learning) that can be used through an ECPAT hosted platform by adult users.
EXPECTED OUTPUTS
A 20-25 min audiovisual online training course for short term rental hosts, to be hosted on ECPAT’s platform.
TIMETABLE
The assignment will be carried out between September and December 2025. A detailed plan and timeline will be defined and agreed with the selected company at the start of the assignment.
AGENCY’S PROFILE
- Demonstrated experience in developing high quality audio-visual training courses for online use, including e-learnings with the use of the newest technologies (please provide links or portfolio in the proposal).
- Understanding of learning processes and educational needs of adults for online learning.
- Fluency in English (writing and speaking).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This is a home-based position using own equipment and communication tools of the agency.
- The consultants should be available for online calls in Asia and the Americas time zones.
- The project will be delivered in English; the materials will be also adapted and translated in Spanish by ECPAT International.
- The Consultants are expected to act at all times in a manner consistent with the values of ECPAT International and in compliance with the organisation’s policies and procedures including Child Safeguarding Policy and the Code of Conduct.
