Consultancy on the Redesign of the Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub Website At Terre des Hommes Hungary

The Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub (RSH) was developed in 2019 by a consortium including Social Development Direct and Terre des hommes (Tdh). It has since become a leading provider of safeguarding support to civil society organisations, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. The RSH global online platform (www.safeguardingsupporthub.org) includes:

  • A library of over 2,000 contextualised safeguarding resources
  • Content in 18 languages
  • E-learning modules
  • A consultant listing for safeguarding professionals
  • A selection of localised “Hubs” focusing on target countries

With its global reach and open access, the platform is widely considered a global public good. RSH has also provided targeted services in 12 countries across Africa, MENA, South Asia and Eastern Europe.

The consortium now seeks to redesign the website structurally and visually to:

  • Improve user navigation and pathways enabling users to find relevant guidance, resources and support, even if unsure what to search for
  • Improve the visual design appearance of the website and Hubs
  • Rationalise and improve consistency of the user experience and interfaces across the website and Hubs

Tdh, which leads the online component of the RSH programme, seeks to contract a company or a team including a User Experience (UX) Expert and a Web Designer. They will work together to audit and redesign the platform. They will also cooperate with the RSH Team responsible for knowledge management.
