The Association
Founded in 1980 by Sister Emmanuelle to provide protection and education to the world’s most vulnerable children, Asmae is an independent, secular association recognized as being of public utility. Present in 8 countries: Egypt, Lebanon, the Philippines, India, Madagascar, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, and France, Asmae supports local stakeholders while also acting at the institutional level. The teams of Asmae – Association Soeur Emmanuelle, in France and internationally, continue its work in accordance with the values ​​and methods inherited from its founder: listening and proximity, pragmatism, taking differences into account, professionalism, and reciprocity.
Your future missions
Within the Resources & Communication department, you will report to the Fundraising Manager. You will be able to rely on a work-study student dedicated to donor relations and fundraising, as well as a team of dedicated volunteers!
Monitoring of the relationship with donors and sponsors
– Respond to requests from donors, sponsors or prospects;
– Coordinate the writing of sponsorship newsletters with field teams and volunteers;
– Participate in the development of the donor relations strategy: study of targets, segmentations, creation of personalized relational cycles.
Donation management and service provider monitoring
– Break down and prepare bank deposits of donations; track and send tax receipts to donors; manage bank rejections;
– Monitor the donation entry work done by volunteers, interns and service providers;
– Formalize and update procedures related to donation management;
– Reconcile data with the Finance department monthly and at closing times
Fundraising campaigns
– Create email campaigns and monitor KPIs in a campaign optimization approach (open rate, click rate, etc.);
– Participate in strategic thinking on digital and print fundraising campaigns, aimed at recruiting and retaining donors.
Your profile
: Minimum of a Bac +3 in customer relations, accounting-management, administrative and commercial management, communication, and marketing. You ideally have at least 2 years of experience in fundraising, preferably in an association or NGO. You are computer literate (databases, mail merges, pivot tables) and have excellent writing skills. You demonstrate good listening skills, empathy, flexibility, and adaptability. You enjoy working in a team and have excellent diplomatic skills. You have a strong interest in international solidarity and children’s causes.
Conditions
– 3-month fixed-term contract to be filled at the beginning of November 2025
– Full-time 37 hours/week (RTT), employee status
– Salary according to profile between €33K and €36K gross per year over 12 months. Meal vouchers with a face value of €10, 60% of which is covered by Asmae. Sustainable Mobility Package or 50% reimbursement of the Navigo package.
– Position based in Montreuil (93), teleworking up to 3 days per week according to the charter
