Here’s where you come in:
As the ECHO Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic education initiatives, ensuring technical quality and compliance with organizational policies, particularly around Safe and Inclusive Programming. This role involves leading education programming in CAR, including non-formal education and system strengthening, while coordinating with government and education stakeholders. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, fundraising, capacity building, and ensuring harmonization across projects. The role also supports emergency response planning, promotes advocacy for displaced populations, and fosters synergies across departments to enhance program impact and innovation.
Requirements include:
- Minimum 6 years of experience within technical expertise area in a humanitarian/recovery context
- Experience of Project Management in a fragile context
- Extensive experience in Education in Emergency in Fragile context
- Education expertise: development of strategy, capacity building, quality
- Fluency in French and English, both written and verbal
- Relevant University degree (Masters’)
- Experience with start-up or expansion of new programmes
- Knowledge of Central Africa region is an added value
