Service description.-

The International Federation requires the services of one (1) facilitator specializing in conscious movement for the city of Tumbes, who will lead four (4) in-person group sessions aimed at promoting emotional well-being, self-regulation, and community cohesion through guided movement practices. The sessions must be conducted in accordance with the methodological guidelines defined by IFRC and adapted to the local community context.

The activities will take place on the following dates and locations: – Punta Sal: Sunday, March 29th and Sunday, April 5th, at 2:00 pm – La Cruz: Wednesday, April 8th and Friday, April 10th, at 3:00 pm *The time indicated is the time of the activities; the supplier must calculate the installation times before the indicated start time.

The service provider must take into account any relevant logistical or security considerations regarding your travel (trip and accommodation). The average number of participants for the sessions mentioned is between 20 and 30 people.

Service coordination.-

1. The facilitator will confirm availability to conduct the scheduled session.

2. Prior to the activity, information will be provided on space requirements, materials and possible methodological adaptations needed according to the participating group.

3. The basic methodology will be provided by IFRC; however, the facilitator is expected to enrich, contextualize and technically adjust it, while maintaining the objectives of emotional well-being and community cohesion.

4. At the end of each session, the facilitator must record the following information: • Date and time of the session • Location • Number of participants • Duration of the session • Operational observations (what worked, necessary adjustments, incidents if any) • Recommendations for future sessions

Service characteristics.-

• Modality: In-person group sessions • Duration per session: between 1.5 and 2.5 hours (quote for the mentioned hours) • Service on demand, according to project scheduling and communication.

The sessions must have conscious movement as their core, and may incorporate complementary elements according to the methodology and needs of the group, such as: • somatic practices • yoga or mindful movement • breathing and body regulation exercises • body-emotion connection exercises • gentle body expression exercises. The activities must be developed with a psychoeducational approach from the body, prioritizing well-being, safety and voluntary participation.

Expected characteristics of the facilitator.-

-Proven experience facilitating conscious movement with groups (somatic practices, yoga, dance, somatic education, mindful movement or other similar approaches).

• Ability to lead safe, inclusive sessions adapted to different ages, physical conditions, and energy levels. • Ability to maintain a caring approach, promoting consent, voluntary participation, intensity options, and breaks.

• Experience working in the community or with vulnerable populations (desirable).

• Training or certification related to the field (desirable, not exclusive).

Provider/Facilitator Requirements

• Previous experience facilitating well-being activities, community mental health, or psychosocial work. • Availability to travel within the city of Tumbes according to the project schedule. • Ability to work in coordination with humanitarian teams and respect IFRC’s safety and security protocols.

Service coverage.-

The sessions will be held in different community spaces within the city of Tumbes, as determined by IFRC according to the project schedule. Specific locations will be announced in advance for each session.

Duration of service.-

The service will be provided from the service confirmation until the last day of the workshop described in the document. During this period, two (04) in-person sessions are planned, scheduled according to coordination with the IFRC team and community availability.

Price .-

The supplier must provide a detailed quote considering the following: • Cost per hour for the session. • Cost per additional hour, in case of session extensions or adjustments required for on-site operations. • The quote must reflect all expenses for the event, including transfers, transportation, accommodation (if required), etc. The quote must include all costs associated with providing the service.

Damage Settlement Clause: Please be advised that any delivery made after the date agreed upon between the buyer and the supplier, as stipulated in the Purchase Order, will be subject to a penalty of 5% per calendar day calculated on the total contract value. Delivery Time: The requested products will be delivered between May and July, with the option to renew depending on demand and on-site needs. Other relevant information: – No alternatives to the requested specifications will be considered. – We reserve the right to accept all or part of your offer, and the lowest evaluated offer will not necessarily be accepted. – If awarded the contract, you will be required to return the signed Service Order as acceptance of the terms and conditions. – Unless otherwise stated, the Buyer’s Terms and the attached General Conditions will apply. The requested services will be provided at the Federation’s request. In the event of default by the seller, including but not limited to failure or refusal to make deliveries within the specified timeframes, the Buyer may acquire the goods or services from other sources and hold the seller liable for any additional costs incurred. Furthermore, the Buyer may, by written notice, terminate the seller’s right to proceed with deliveries, or any part thereof, to the extent that the defective goods or services have been provided.
