With a growing presence in Southern and Central Africa, Aries Consult seeks to expand its database of qualified professionals in Angola , with a view to mobilizing them for field studies, institutional assessments, and technical support to governance.
The recruitment process focuses on two complementary profiles : data collection agents and public policy and governance specialists. 📝 Job Description
Field Agents play a key role in collecting reliable data from urban, peri-urban and rural communities. They will be responsible for conducting household and institutional interviews , using digital tools, in surveys on education, health, nutrition, community participation, local governance and social inclusion.
🛠 Responsibilities
- Apply structured questionnaires using tablets or smartphones (platforms such as KoboCollect or SurveyCTO);
- Conduct interviews with households, community leaders and public service providers;
- Ensure informed consent and confidentiality of collected data;
- Participate in prior training and ongoing supervision sessions with the technical team;
- Submit the collected data accurately, within the established deadlines;
- Immediately report any ethical, logistical or technical incidents in the field.
✅ Requirements
- Completed high school (degree or university attendance will be valued);
- Previous experience in surveys, censuses, or diagnostic studies;
- Basic knowledge of digital data collection tools;
- Fluency in Portuguese; mastery of national languages (Kikongo, Kimbundu, Umbundu, Chokwe) will be considered an advantage;
- Clear communication skills, professional attitude and availability for extended travel to other provinces.
