Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles—independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, and transparency—has defined its identity for 45 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection, and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Mission :
Under the supervision of the Tools, Training and Projects Manager, your mission will be to ensure the deployment of the Polaris financing plan component in country offices and to guarantee the sustainability of training and support mechanisms for users.
In this context, your responsibilities will include:
Organizing and ensuring the deployment of Polaris to country offices;
Providing training to new Polaris users in the regions and in country offices
; Providing functional support to users of the tool;
and Making available to users the documentation relating to the use of the tool and associated processes.
Profile :
You hold a higher education degree in financial management and have at least two years of field experience as a Finance Manager, responsible for the financial oversight of a country office.
You possess technical skills in the following areas: budget cycles, project monitoring, accrual and cash accounting, donor reporting standards, instructional design, and project management.
You have advanced Excel skills.
You are a skilled communicator and have strong problem-solving and teaching abilities.
Working in an international environment, you are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Employment conditions
Status: Integrated Manager – 7-month fixed-term contract until 31/05/2027 – Full-time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Salary: From 41K to 50K euros gross per year over 13 months depending on experience
