CAFOD is seeking an experienced Fundraising Consultant to undertake a donor‑prospecting and fundraising landscape mapping exercise to support locally led civil society organisations (CSOs) in Sri Lanka.
The consultancy will identify new, emerging and non‑traditional funding opportunities to help partners sustain their work on human rights, governance, agroecology and climate‑resilient livelihoods, as CAFOD prepares to close its Sri Lanka programme in 2027.
Key responsibilities include:
- Mapping bilateral, multilateral, philanthropic, CSR, climate, diaspora and impact investment donors
- Analysing alignment between donor priorities and partner CSO mandates
- Identifying short-, medium- and long‑term funding opportunities
- Producing a donor‑prospecting report, prioritised pipeline and donor database
- Delivering a virtual workshop to strengthen partners’ fundraising readiness
Requirements:
- Proven experience in fundraising or donor mapping for CSOs in the Global South
- Strong knowledge of South Asian or global funding landscapes
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
Duration: 4 months
Location: Remote (some in‑country engagement if local)
