Doctors Without Borders, an international humanitarian medical association created in 1971, provides medical assistance to populations whose lives are threatened: mainly in cases of armed conflict, but also epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters or exclusion from care.
The CJP (Jacques Pinel Training Centre) General Resources and Teaching Materials Officer is responsible for the management of teaching materials (flow and stock management), first-level IT support (audiovisual equipment for classrooms, teaching computers and CJP office equipment) and the monitoring of the CJP’s movable and immovable property management.
MISSION
Reporting to the Head of the CJP (Jacques Pinel Training Centre)
Main job activities:
Managing teaching materials
- Manage the fleet of equipment, spare parts and consumables using stock tracking tools (inventory, ordering, stock management, renewal, maintenance)
- Prepare the necessary equipment for each training session, respecting the procedures, particularly those for the distribution of equipment loaned by MSF Logistics.
- Manage the supply chain or renewal of equipment in collaboration with suppliers based on the needs expressed by the trainers.
- Manage and track all materials, consumables and specific products related to the activity in compliance with regulations (storage of hazardous products)
- Manage and monitor the vehicle fleet dedicated to the Centre
- Conduct semi-annual inventories of all equipment at the CJP
- To proactively propose solutions to the technical advisors of the operational centers to renew, optimize, and standardize the stock of teaching materials
Managing the CJP facilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of the facilities in collaboration with MSF Log
- Conduct technical inspections to detect malfunctions
- Carry out the necessary repairs, plan and supervise subcontracted repairs
- Manage maintenance contracts for facilities and equipment (kitchen equipment, 3D processing, etc.)
- Select technical service providers in accordance with the purchasing procedure.
- Participate in updating the annual maintenance plan and developing the multi-year work plan
- Ensure the proper functioning of safety equipment
- Collect requests for technical assistance from users and trainees in order to organize the necessary resources to resolve them.
- Organize and monitor the delivery of services (waste management, fire safety, intrusion systems, access control, etc.),
- Suggest improvements to the layout
Provide IT/audiovisual support
- Ensure the proper functioning of audiovisual, IT and reprographic equipment used in training sessions (update management, application installation)
- To provide IT support tailored to the specific needs of the occupants
- Coordinate this support with the IT departments of MSF LOG and MSF Association
Participate in the site’s activities
- To promote interaction between all actors and users of the CJP
- Contribute to the integration of groups and the organization of informal on-site events
- Ensure the handover of information and instructions between the night and day shifts
- Participate in welcoming and briefing the speakers/trainees to raise their awareness of safety instructions
- Prepare the plenary and technical rooms according to the requests
- Participate in the department’s budget monitoring and the optimization of purchases within your area of ​​expertise.
- Training in site safety and fire security management to be able to intervene (accident, health problem, fire, intrusion…)
Desired profile
Experience :
- You must hold a minimum of a Bac + 2 qualification or equivalent.
- Experience of more than 2 years in general services and in ERP (public establishment) in the medical-social sector (nursing home, accommodation center) or as an operational logistician (ideally on a humanitarian mission).
- MSF experience is an asset
SKILLS :
- Skills in the technical field (HVAC, electricity, plumbing) and inventory management,
- Proficiency in computer and audiovisual tools.
- A valid driver’s license (category B) is essential. CACES/MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform) certification and/or electrical qualifications are preferred.
- Knowledge of the various logistics trades and equipment (energy, wastewater, radio, mechanics, biomedical, cold chain) is an asset for this position

Employment conditions
Status: Fixed-term contract of 6 months, full-time. Position equivalent to management, based in Mérignac (Bordeaux).
Compensation and benefits:
- €41,100 gross annual salary over 13 months
- 22 days of RTT (reduced working time) per year
- Health insurance covered 100%
- Meal vouchers worth €12 (60% covered by MSF)
- 50% reimbursement of public transport pass (weekly, monthly or annual) OR bicycle mileage allowance (€0.25 per km, limited to €450 per year)
