Job summary:
Implementing community awareness activities and increasing women’s and girls’ access to empowerment and support services provided by the center, by raising awareness about their rights, support programs, and available protection services, while collecting information and feedback from the community to enhance planning and programs, in addition to experience in delivering gender-based violence sessions.
Basic requirements:
High school diploma or university degree in social work, gender, community development, or any related field.
- Desired requirements:
- Previous experience in fieldwork or awareness-raising is an asset. – Sound knowledge of protection and empowerment issues for women and girls. – Effective communication skills with diverse groups. – Strong training skills with the ability to simplify and effectively convey information to beneficiaries. – Ability to use the GBV Toolkit practically within awareness-raising sessions. – Skills in measuring the impact of training and accurately documenting results. – Ability to work in the field and move within the community. – Good organizational and documentation skills. – High sensitivity to gender-based violence issues and the privacy of beneficiaries. – Initiative and teamwork skills.
