Job summary:

Participation and support in identifying survivors or those at risk of gender-based violence

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Conducting individual sessions for survivors and covering all steps of case management, processes, and related tools.
  • Conducting risk and needs assessments, developing care plans and safety plans, and holding case conferences and referrals.
  • Ensuring proper documentation and compilation of case files in accordance with the security program’s information management system.
  • Ensuring that all high-risk cases are dealt with directly in coordination with the direct manager (case management supervisor).
  • In collaboration with the supervising manager, he will work closely with other organizations to ensure smooth case management.
  • Actively participate in the weekly meetings of the case management team
  • Providing input for activity reports and weekly reports
  • Coordination with the psychosocial support team and other sectors as needed
  • Regular attendance at field-level case management meetings
  • Contributing to the development of targeted activities proposed for case management
  • Perform all other work-related activities as requested by the direct supervisor.
  • PM+ Experience in advanced problem-solving software
  • Full commitment to protection and preservation policies, the Do No Harm principle, and the code of conduct.
  • Basic requirements:
  • One to two years of experience in humanitarian work related to managing cases of gender-based violence.
  • High efficiency in coordinating local efforts to meet the needs of vulnerable survivors
  • Good skills in using Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working as a team and taking the initiative to carry out tasks assigned by the team leader.
  • Familiarity with and commitment to humanitarian standards.
  • To be familiar with the advanced problem-solving software
  • University degree in social work, psychology, protection, or any related field.
  • Previous experience working with Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS).
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to deal with beneficiaries with high sensitivity.
  • Organizational skills, time management, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Desired requirements:
