Context:
Bajo la supervisión general del Resources Management Officer y la supervisión directa del Asistente Legal, el pasante trabajará en la elaboración, el análisis y la preparación de documentación que requiera la unidad legal, y se ocupará de lo siguiente:
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
- Apoyar en la elaboración de convenios de cooperación, contratos de servicios, contratos de suministros, contratos de arrendamiento, contratos de obra y supervisión, actas de donación y adendas.
- Apoyar en la elaboración de escritos, cartas, oficios y notas para los proyectos que desarrolla la organización y fuentes de cooperación.
- Dara seguimiento a la presentación de procesos arbitrales, comerciales y laborales ante los Juzgados y Tribunales.
- Esquematizará alternativas de solución para la ejecución de los proyectos
- Absolverá en la absolución consultas de los funcionarios y brindar asesoría jurídica cuando así sea requerido en temas de leyes del país, para determinar cualquier procedimiento o acción a seguir en el marco de las normas de OIM.
- Crear y mantener archivos ordenados y completos con toda la documentación, legal para cada proyecto en ejecución.
- Preparar informes sobre el estado de los convenios y documentos legales elaborados y/o en ejecución.
- Participar, de ser necesario, en reuniones con contrapartes en el marco de la elaboración de un convenio
- Mantendrá una comunicación estrecha con los diferentes programas para intercambiar información previa a la elaboración de los convenios y contratos.
- De ser requerido, realizar visitas a campo para verificar en sitio el cumplimiento a las obligaciones contractuales asumidas por una entidad ejecutoria.
- Realizar cualquier otra tarea que le sea asignada.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
- Egresado(a) o Bachiller en las carreras de Derecho, Ciencias Políticas, Relaciones Internacionales, Administración, Negocios Internacionales, o afines.
Experience
- Mínimo 1 años de experiencia en temas legales
- Experiencia con las Naciones Unidas, preferible.
- Conocimiento sobre enfoques de derechos,
Languages
- Spanish (Fluency) and English (Intermediate)
