Amal is a non-profit Syrian non-governmental organization established to provide life-saving aid and services to the most vulnerable people, strengthening their resilience, advocating for their basic rights, and also contributing to providing recovery and revitalization programs for war-torn societies.
Amal Organization is a relief and development organization, was established in early 2013 and the organization was licensed and registered in Turkey – Gaziantep on 6/6/2014
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate on a continuous basis with the director of the media department located in the main office, regarding the tasks assigned and completed.
- Carrying out all kinds of documenting Amal’s projects according to well- known media standards, including photos and videos, and modifying photos and videos.
- Archive media materials (photos and videos) on the organization’s cloud storage sites on a regular basis.
- Preparing daily, weekly and monthly media reports related to the implementation of projects within the targeted areas.
- Ensure that the visual identity of the Amal organization is properly implemented by the field teams during the implementation of the activities.
- Preparing informational proposals and reports as required.
- Working on editing videos, creating promo and success stories for projects
- Preparing and designing designs as required
- Other tasks assigned by the Media Director.
Qualifications and skills:
- A university degree or an intermediate institute.
- At least three years’ experience in the field of photography, editing and working with humanitarian organizations.
- Excellent experience in photography and dealing with professional cameras.
- Experience in working on photo and video editing software (Adobe Lightroom – Adobe Photoshop – Adobe Premiere).
- Experience in processing and archiving media materials.
Travel:
Possibility of travel between Aleppo and Idlib as needed for the project
