Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles—independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, and transparency—has defined its identity for 45 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection, and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Mission :
Under the supervision of the Coordinator of the International Conference on the Protection of Humanitarian Workers, you will be responsible for the operational and logistical coordination of the conference, ensuring a smooth, coherent organization that meets institutional requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
managing coordination with the external service provider (before, during, and after the conference);
ensuring the cohesion and coordination of internal logistical and administrative aspects;
and contributing to the coordination of institutional communications related to the conference.

Profile :
You have experience in organizing institutional events involving full logistics management, vendor coordination, and operational supervision.
You have experience working for an international NGO, a UN agency, or an organization operating in a humanitarian or political environment.
You are proficient in the logistical aspects of events and the organizational tools used.
You are capable of managing an external vendor responsible for event logistics and handling participant processes. You possess strong coordination and interpersonal skills, interacting effectively with diverse stakeholders, and have a keen sense of service, operational quality, and rapid problem-solving.
Rigorous, organized, responsive, and autonomous, you are able to work under pressure, manage multiple logistical aspects simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines.
You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Employment conditions
Fixed-term contract of 7 months until 30/10/2026.
Location: Brussels.
Remuneration: Category: Officer.
Grade range: I to III.
From €44,000 to €48,000 gross per year over 13 months depending on experience.
Benefits: 10 additional days of leave (based on 12 months) in addition to the 20 days of statutory leave

Remote work: 3 days of mandatory on-site presence for this position, outside of scheduled team meetings.
