Job summary, aim and purpose:
Senior Assistant – Reporting
Preparing and reviewing periodic reports on the activities of the home restoration project, and ensuring their accuracy and consistency with the donor’s requirements.
(UNDP) and the policies of the implementing organization.
The position aims to collect and analyze information from field and technical teams and translate it into comprehensive reports that show the progress of implementation, outputs, and challenges, in order to improve planning and decision-making within the project.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Collecting and analyzing data and information from field and technical teams to prepare periodic reports.
Preparing accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports according to donor and project management requirements.
Review and improve the content of reports to ensure their clarity and consistency in both form and content.
Supporting the development of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) tools in collaboration with data staff and the technical team.
Preparing executive summaries, charts, and dashboards to illustrate the project’s progress.
Contributing to the preparation of success stories and case studies that highlight the project’s impact on beneficiaries.
Maintaining a systematic and organized electronic archiving system for all reports and supporting attachments
Ongoing coordination with project management to ensure reports align with planned goals and outcomes.
Other responsibilities:
Contributing to the development of reporting standardization tools and criteria within the project
Providing technical support to team members in improving their reporting skills
Participating in coordination meetings and preparing meeting minutes when needed
Ensuring compliance with integrity and transparency standards and donor policies
Perform any other tasks related to reporting or documentation as assigned by the project manager.
Job requirements
University degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, International Relations
Arabic and English languages
Ability to travel is required

Good skills in reading and writing English
The ability to use quantitative and qualitative methods, including questionnaire design, survey techniques, and participatory approaches.

Confident communicator, capable of earning people’s respect
