Team Leader/Idlib At Syrian month

Job summary, aim and purpose:

The team leader takes over

Direct supervision of site managers and site engineers in the rural areas of Aleppo and Idlib, ensuring the implementation of housing rehabilitation works according to the approved time plan, and achieving effective coordination between the technical teams, contractors and the senior management of the project.

Job aim and purpose:
To ensure the efficient and smooth management of the project’s daily field operations, and to achieve steady progress in the implementation of rehabilitation works for 350 homes, while ensuring quality of execution and adherence to the schedule and technical specifications.

Job duties and responsibilities:

Direct supervision of site managers and site engineers

Monitoring the progress of contractors’ work at all implementation sites

Preparing weekly and monthly field work plans

Ensuring effective coordination between the technical teams in Aleppo and Idlib

Reviewing the progress rates and ensuring their compliance with the approved plans

Addressing operational and technical challenges faced by senior management and proposing appropriate solutions.

Ensuring compliance with quality standards and project requirements

Supporting the planning for the distribution of human and field resources

Participating in technical meetings with contractors and executive teams

Reviewing and approving field reports and submitting periodic reports to management

Contributing to operational risk management and ensuring continuity of implementation

Directly supervised by: Site Managers – Site Engineers

He reports to: Project Manager / Technical Coordinator

Developing field work plans and improving operating procedures to ensure efficiency and quality

Participating in coordination meetings with internal teams, beneficiaries, and contractors

Ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health standards, quality policies, and accountability

Providing technical and administrative support to field teams when needed

Perform any additional tasks assigned by project management to ensure project objectives are met

Job requirements

University degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering

Arabic and English languages

Ability to travel is required

At least 5 years of practical experience in field project management or construction site supervision

Experience in supervising work teams and contractors and ensuring quality of execution

Knowledge of engineering standards for reconstruction and repair projects

High proficiency in using basic computer programs (MS Office) and engineering design programs such as AutoCAD.

The ability to work in multi-tasking field environments and adapt to different working conditions.
