About the Chain of Hope
La Chaîne de l’Espoir is an international NGO founded in 1994. Its mission is to strengthen health systems to give everyone, especially children, the same chances of survival and development.
We operate in 28 countries through a comprehensive approach, centered on children but also on mothers and disadvantaged communities:
- Prevention and screening from a very early age, particularly as part of school health programs.
- Care and surgery, to meet the most urgent needs of children and their mothers.
- Training and skills transfer to local teams thanks to our international network of experts in all areas of surgery.
- Construction and equipment of hospital structures adapted to local needs.
Within the Development and Communication Department and in support of the Digital Communication Officer, the intern’s mission is to participate in developing the association’s reputation on the digital side.
Main activities
Social networks :
- Participate in the animation and moderation of La Chaîne de l’Espoir’s social networks.
- Be a driving force for the development of these social networks.
Content creation :
- Participate in the creation of various content (articles, videos, infographics, newsletters) related to the NGO’s actions and projects.
- Ensure the online publication and optimization of content for each platform.
Performance monitoring :
- Monitor the performance of communication actions and the website.
- Make recommendations for improvement.
- Produce a monthly report.
Digital monitoring :
- Conduct sector and non-sector monitoring of digital trends and best practices in digital communication to propose innovative and effective ideas.
Collaboration with internal teams :
- Work closely with teams.
- Take part in inter-association events.
REQUIRED PROFILE
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
Minimum BAC+3 training in a school or a specialized Master’s degree (communication and marketing)
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) and video (Adobe Premiere Pro) is a plus
- Social media mastery
- Good writing skills in French and if possible in English
- Interest in digital
- Creativity, rigor
- Sense of diplomacy
- Organized and rigorous
- Very good interpersonal skills
- Listening and communication skills
- Versatility and good adaptability
- Team spirit
- DTP knowledge
- Adherence to the humanitarian principles and ethical code of La Chaîne de l’Espoir.
Conditions
- 6-month internship
- Full-time internship, based at the association’s headquarters in Paris, 75015.
- Meal vouchers worth 12.10 euros covered at 60%
- 50% transport subscription reimbursement or sustainable mobility allowance (bicycle) of 40 euros/month
- Amount of the gratuity: €4.35/hour, according to the legal scale and on a basis of 35 hours/week
- Internship start date: October 2025
