Context

The position is located within the Logistics and Warehousing Services Team of the Manila Supply Chain Unit. Under the direct supervision of the Senior Supply Chain Associate (Team Lead) and the overall supervision of the Senior Supply Chain and Procurement Officer, MSCU Head, the Supply Chain Associate – Warehousing and Logistics will be responsible for providing logistics, warehousing and supply chain support services in support of IOM operations worldwide.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or any related field from an accredited academic institution with three (3) years of relevant professional experience; or
  • High School diploma with five (5) years of relevant professional experience; and
  • Trainings, diploma courses on procurement (at least CIPS Level 2 or similar), logistics and cargo insurance is an advantage.

Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain operations, procurement, warehousing, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting logistics coordination, procurement processes, contract administration, or supply chain activities; and experience preparing reports, analysing operational data, and maintaining records; and
  • Experience working in an international, governmental, or multinational organization is desirable.

SKILLS

  • Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, warehousing, and freight forwarding operations;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage;
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments and deliver results within established timelines; and
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multicultural environments.
