What we’re looking for
Methodica Consulting is currently looking for experts in mining in Eastern DRC. The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:
- 10+ years of experience in governance of the artisanal mining sector, especially in the 3T and gold supply chains;
- Experience in the Ituri, South Kivu, Tanganika regions of DRC;
- M&E experience is an asset;
- Ability to deploy for data collection activities in the three provinces is an asset.
The expert will join the evaluation team on selected evaluation mandates, supporting on the development of project design and the validation of preliminary findings. He/she could also conduct in-country data collection activities, e.g., site visits.
While the Level of Effort (LoE) may vary depending on the specific project, experts are likely not involved in the day-to-day management of the project but rather provide input at specific moments, which can be scheduled in advance.
