How can you make a difference? Key functions / Responsibilities
The Registration Facilitator will be the first point of contact at the Mobility Service Point (PAM) in the La Bandera Terminal. Their role is essential to building trust, organizing the flow of people, and capturing key information in an efficient and respectful manner.
Will work in close coordination with the General Monitor and the rest of the multidisciplinary team (protection, SMAPS, legal).
He/She will be in charge of:
- To receive users with dignified, empathetic and respectful treatment.
- Provide clear and simple information about the free services available at the PAM (hydration, food, NFI, showers, legal guidance, SMAPS, etc.).
- Explain the purpose of the record and obtain verbal informed consent before collecting any data.
- Register the information of the people served on the KOBO platform (mobile device or tablet), capturing the minimum necessary data established by the project.
- Ensure that records are complete, legible, and sent in real time or at the end of the day.
- Immediately report any technical failure, inconsistency, or doubt about the form to the General Monitor.
- Organize the queue or the order of service, maintaining order and calm in a high-traffic environment.
- Visually identify and prioritize attention to clearly vulnerable profiles: pregnant women or women with babies, elderly people living alone, people with visible disabilities, unaccompanied children or adolescents, or people in an obvious state of crisis.
- Refer these cases immediately to the General Monitor or directly to the specialized team (Case Manager or SMAPS) depending on the urgency.
- Assist in the distribution of hydration, food, or hygiene kits when the workload requires it, following the instructions of the General Monitor.
- Keep the registration area tidy, clean and stocked with the necessary materials (forms, pens, batteries, signage).
- Report to the General Monitor any need for supplies, breakdowns, or unsafe conditions in the space.
- Inform users about the existence of the suggestion box and the Interagency Line as safe channels to leave complaints, claims or suggestions.
- Apply the satisfaction survey at the end of the service, when requested by the General Monitor or the M&E team.
- Participate in the brief closing of the day with the General Monitor to report any new developments, incidents, or patterns observed in the flow of people.
- Maintain fluid and respectful communication with the entire PAM team.
- Strictly comply with the principles of confidentiality, non-discrimination and zero tolerance towards Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA).
- Report any suspicion or disclosure of abuse directly to the General Monitor or the CRV Protection Focal Point.
- Always act in accordance with the Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross and humanitarian principles.
- Perform any other operational activity related to the functioning of the PAM that is requested by the General Monitor or the Project Officer, within the scope of their responsibilities.
Report
The Registration Facilitator will report to the Project Leader.
Trips
You must be available to travel within the country.
Teams
The CRV will provide the necessary devices for registration (tablet or phone). It is desirable that the candidate have a personal computer and internet connection for training purposes, but this is not mandatory.

To qualify as a builder of the Venezuelan humanitarian system, you must meet the following requirements:
- University degree in progress or completed in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related areas in the social sciences and humanities. (Candidates with related higher technical training and relevant experience will be considered).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in direct care for people in vulnerable situations, human mobility, social services, community health, working with at-risk populations, or similar roles. Experience in humanitarian work or with the Red Cross is highly desirable.
- Basic notions of protection approaches: confidentiality, informed consent, non-discrimination, gender and age approach.
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
- Basic handling of mobile devices/tablets and data recording applications (KOBO or similar) and basic knowledge of office tools (Excel, Word) to support reports.
- Basic knowledge in activity tracking, information gathering, and report preparation.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple operational tasks.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and follow technical and administrative guidelines.
- Previous experience with the Red Cross, Red Crescent or other humanitarian organizations is desirable.
- Commitment to the Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Functional knowledge of the English language is desirable (not exclusive).
