Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles—independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, and transparency—has defined its identity for 45 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection, and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Assignment :
We are looking for an apprentice to support the development and implementation of projects for the Youth Service in ÃŽle-de-France, through the following missions:
Support for the mobilization of schools:
Prospect for new schools in the ÃŽle-de-France region to mobilize them around the Race Against Hunger, by presenting the project and encouraging their participation.
Retain existing schools by maintaining regular contact, valuing their commitment and offering them suitable tools.
Coordinate awareness-raising activities:
Plan sessions, ensure logistics, liaise with volunteers and schools.
Participate in the implementation of awareness-raising interventions.
Be present at certain interventions to represent the organization and ensure the smooth running of activities.
Participate in the organization of a race bringing together several schools: provide support beforehand (coordination, logistics) and be present on the day to ensure its smooth running.
Monitor collections:
Ensure follow-up of collections after the event.
Receive and verify donations, follow up if necessary, and support in promoting the results to schools.
Support the development and implementation of projects of the Youth Service in ÃŽle-de-France.
Profile:
We are looking for a candidate who shares our commitment and possesses the following qualities:
You are currently enrolled in a higher education program (Bachelor’s +3/4 years) in business, entrepreneurship, or communications, or you have a general education. You already have initial experience in project management or event organization.
You possess strong business acumen and interpersonal skills, and you are able to present arguments and persuade others.
You are organized and meticulous, you know how to manage priorities, and you enjoy working in a team.
You enjoy engaging with diverse audiences and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Comfortable working with numerical data, you have strong analytical skills. You are proficient in Microsoft Office.
You demonstrate a strong motivation for the humanitarian sector and international solidarity, which is a significant asset.
Employment conditions
Status: Apprenticeship or professional training contract.
Contract duration: 12 months.
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis).
Desired work schedule: 3 days, 2 days.
Salary Conditions:
Remuneration based on the legal minimum wage, adjusted according to age and education level, paid over 13 months.
21 days of RTT (reduced working time) (prorated according to attendance).
25 days of paid leave, prorated according to attendance
. Health and welfare coverage: 80% covered by ACF.
Transportation: 50% of the cost of commuting between home and work.
Meal vouchers: 60% covered by the association (value of €8).
€170/year (social activities) and discount on cinema tickets
. Remote work: Open to all candidates within mainland France. Our remote work policy governs activities requiring a presence at the association’s headquarters. You can choose to work fully or partially remotely. For this position, a mandatory presence of 16 days per month at headquarters is required, with time dedicated to meetings and group events (3 days per month on average). The first 6 weeks will include 2 days of mandatory attendance per week for your integration into the team.
