RECRUITMENT CONTEXT

We are looking for a SERA Manager to fill a temporary replacement position.

THE POSITION

You will be part of the Operations Management team.

As the SERA Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring the Foundation’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (SERA) activities with a view to accountability and continuous improvement of the quality and impact of programs.

In this context, you will primarily be entrusted with the following activities/responsibilities:

  • Participate in defining the framework and structuring of SERA
  • To manage the team
  • To provide support for the programmatic vision of projects
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of projects
  • Supporting teams in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of projects
  • Contributing to the promotion of projects and learning

To achieve your objectives, you will regularly interact with the technical services and country/area offices of the Mérieux Foundation, in particular through supporting the people in charge of monitoring and evaluating projects in these areas, and may be required to make international trips.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You are sensitive to global public health issues;
  • You have completed training in public health, project management, international relations, development or political science (Master’s degree), and have 8-10 years of experience in project management, with demonstrated experience in monitoring and evaluation;
  • You enjoy working in project mode and evolving in a multicultural environment;
  • You are proficient in project methodology and monitoring and evaluation tools, IT tools, and demonstrate skills enabling you to translate technical documents for a non-technical audience, in data visualization, report writing, and management. Your English (spoken and written) must be fluent!
  • You are known for being rigorous, organized, flexible, and creative. You demonstrate strong writing, analytical, and summarization skills, as well as active listening, teamwork, leadership, and diplomacy.

COMPENSATION ELEMENTS:

  • A basic gross salary, awarded according to the level of experience.
  • A 13th month bonus paid in November and a holiday bonus paid in June, pro rata to the time spent at work.
  • A performance bonus paid in March, pro rata to the time spent at work.
  • Restaurant vouchers with a face value of €10, 55% of which is covered by the Foundation.
  • Access to a company savings plan, as well as a retirement savings plan which can be supplemented by the Foundation.
  • The benefit of an employee + children health insurance plan and a supplementary pension scheme.

WORKING HOURS AND CONDITIONS:

  • 216-day package.
  • 12 days of non-working days for a full year in addition to the 25 days of paid leave.
  • Possibility of working remotely up to 2 days per week after a one-month integration period
