Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization fighting world hunger. Its charter of humanitarian principles—independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, and transparency—has been its foundation for 45 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection, and treatment of malnutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflict and natural disasters. Mission :
Under the supervision of the Deputy Regional Director of Operations for the Asia Pool, you will support the field and headquarters teams to ensure the quality, relevance and technical innovation of Action Against Hunger’s interventions.
More specifically, your missions will be to:
Provide contextual technical analysis to the Asia pool
Provide technical advice to the Country Offices
Promote and evaluate the technical quality of interventions
Develop the technical expertise of the teams
Participate in the management of human resources in the business line and ensure the functional management of the MHPSS RDDs and MHPSS teams in the Country Offices
Promote technical advances and contribute to the development of ACF’s expertise in the field (30%): Technical development, research, advocacy and capitalization, Research and innovation, Representation and advocacy, Animation/training

Profile :
You hold a Master 2 in clinical psychology.
You have at least 8 years of professional experience in the field of international solidarity, including at least 5 years in the management of humanitarian and/or development projects in the SMSP sector.
Action Against Hunger promotes a variety of psychotherapeutic approaches within its projects. Specialization in one or more of the following approaches would be an asset: intercultural or transcultural psychology, community psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and EMDR.
You are fluent in spoken and written English.
Conditions of employment
Status: Integrated Executive – 6-month fixed-term contract until 02/13/2026 – Full time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Remuneration: 41K to 50K euros gross per year over 13 months depending on experience
Benefits: 25 days per year of paid leave and 21 days of RTT

It has been defined for this position a mandatory presence at the headquarters of 1 day per month
